Step One.

Initial Consultation

When you're ready, sign up for a free 30-minute consultation where we will:

  • get to know one another,

  • create a list of countries you'd like to call your next home,

  • start planning your financial/saving goals,

  • decide your "moving month," and

  • see if Spaced Out Agency is the right fit!

Step Two.

The Blueprint

After your consultation, SOA will e-mail you a contract and a sample of your Blueprint, which is your relocation game plan. It includes the following:

  • meeting notes from the consultation,

  • research on your chosen city and country,

  • recommended videos and readings,

  • planning worksheets, and

  • a mapped out-calendar of recommended sessions and tasks.

Step Three.

Choose your sessions

Now that you’ve had your consultation, approved your Blueprint and signed the contract, you are ready to roll! Find available packages and sessions below.

Available Packages & Sessions

Welcome Abroad package ($500) includes two 1.5 hour sessions for each topic, including the final session for free, and three travel gifts. (15 sessions total)

Window Seat package ($300) includes one 1.5 hour sessions for each topic + final session + two travel gifts (8 sessions total)

Wanderer package ($150) choose three 1.5 sessions of your choice + final session + one travel gift (4 sessions total)

Session 1: Finances & Budgeting*

Objective: Assess financial situation, develop a budget and explore financial planning for moving abroad.
Topics to Cover:

  • Current financial status

  • Estimated cost of living in the target country

  • Currency exchange and financial transfers

  • Setting a moving budget

  • Tax implications in the new country

  • Retirement planning

  • Insurance options (health, life, property, etc.)

Session 1.5: Finance Management Abroad

Objective: Review banking, investments, and financial management while abroad.
Topics to Cover:

  • Opening a local bank account

  • Financial systems & regulations in the new country

  • Investments and retirement planning abroad

  • Cross-border tax considerations

  • Estate planning and family financial support

Session 2: Housing & Relocation

Objective: Discuss housing options, relocation logistics, and settling in.
Topics to Cover:

  • Types of housing: renting/buying/temporary stays

  • Real estate market insights

  • Housing contracts and legal aspects

  • Furnishings, utilities, and moving logistics

  • Relocation companies & international movers

  • Property management and neighborhood recommendations

Session 3: Employment & Career Transition

Objective: Address employment opportunities, career transition, and professional networking.
Topics to Cover:

  • Job search strategies (local job market, industries, professional networks)

  • Resume and portfolio customization for a new country

  • LinkedIn optimization and job application strategies

  • Professional certification and revalidation (if applicable)

  • Freelancing & remote work options

  • Networking and expat communities in the new country

Session 4: Health & Well-being

Objective: Plan for health, education, and personal well-being.
Topics to Cover:

  • Health insurance in the new country

  • Access to healthcare facilities

  • Education options for children

  • Support services (counseling, mental health, etc.)

  • Cultural adjustment and social integration

  • Language learning resources and courses

Session 5: Legal & Immigration

Objective: Review legal requirements and immigration options for moving abroad.
Topics to Cover:

  • Visa types and requirements

  • Work permits, student visas, or residency permits

  • Citizenship process (if applicable)

  • Legal documents needed (passports, birth certificates, marriage certificates, etc.)

  • Family sponsorship and legal dependents

Session 6: Travel Logistics

Objective: Finalize travel plans and immigration logistics.
Topics to Cover:

  • Travel insurance

  • Transportation options (air, road, rail)

  • Preparing for customs and immigration clearance

  • Shipping belongings and handling customs duties

  • Emergency preparedness & support networks

Final Review Session

Objective: Finalize all aspects of the move to ensure a smooth transition.
Topics to Cover:

  • Confirmation of all legal documentation and visas

  • Finalizing travel, housing and employment details

  • Emergency funds and support plans

  • Post-move follow-up to address any outstanding issues or adjustments

*Payment breakdown (%): Research (70%); Planning/Calendaring (20%); Communication outside of sessions (10%)
